The Health Department confirmed 9,010 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa, taking the cumulative number of cases to 1,346,936.
The department has also confirmed a further 344 deaths. This takes the death toll to 37,449.
According to the department, South Africa has seen 1,117,452 recoveries.
