Ekiti Assembly Speaker Fuminiyi Afuye is Dead
Reports from Ado Ekiti indicate that the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Fuminiyi Afuye has died following a reported Cardiac Arrest.
Sources say the speaker died on the evening of Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
Shock and disbelief course through political circles in the State when the news of the demise hit the streets.
It was learnt that Afuye did not show any sign of ailment during his last public outing on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, when he attended the Interfaith Service as part of the activities marking the inauguration of the new Governor of the State.
