“‎How could I face losing the father of my children; A man I’d been married to for 11 whole years”?

‎​Months ago, the doctor’s report brought me to uncontrollable tears. When my husband became seriously unwell, we went for tests, & the report confirmed his kidneys were failing.

‎​It’s truly in a crisis that you see who cares. We desperately needed help. Money wasn’t the issue—we’ve been blessed financially—but we just couldn’t find anyone willing to donate a kidney. ‎​My husband has many friends, but no one was willing to help, not even his immediate family. They all had one excuse or another.

 

‎​I couldn’t imagine life without him. Seeing my husband weaken, I began to see a dark future. Losing the man I love so dearly was unthinkable, so I decided to take the risk. Luckily, I was a match.

‎​My husband refused. He insisted I let him go, telling me to focus on raising our kids. He’d even written his will, leaving everything to us. I told him, “Darling, you’re going nowhere. The God I serve will never let us down. I’m donating my kidney, & through me, God will heal you.”

 

‎​Though at times, the thoughts were terrifying. I thought to myself ‘What if something happened to both of us here in India? Who would care for our beautiful children?’ But above everything,. I found my strength in prayer. I was determined, with full faith & trust in God.

‎​And finally, the transplant was a success! Yes, I did it for him & for our children! I did it out of love for my family & to honor my wedding vows. ‎​And today, here we are! Our first & second sons, along with our twin girls, together again as one big, happy, complete family!
