THE EXPERIENCE @20: JESUS UNITED – Two Decades of Worship, One Name That Unites
As night falls over Lagos on Friday, December 5th, 2025, the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square will once again pulse with the sound of worship, as hundreds of thousands gather under the open sky for the world’s largest gospel concert, THE EXPERIENCE @20.
Convened by Paul Adefarasin, Metropolitan and Senior Pastor of House On The Rock Church, this milestone edition celebrates 20 years of uniting hearts in worship under the theme “JESUS UNITED.” For two decades, The Experience has stood as a beacon of hope, unity, and faith, drawing worshippers from across Nigeria, Africa, and the world to lift one name above all others – Jesus Christ.
The all-night worship marathon kicks off at 7:00 p.m., featuring an international lineup of gospel legends and rising stars, including:
Travis Greene, Chevelle Franklyn, Onos Ariyo, Beejay Sax, Muyiwa Olarewaju, Israel Houghton, Dunsin Oyekan, Mike Aremu, Mercy Chinwo, Naomi Raine, Chandler Moore, Adeyinka Alaseyori, Sinach, Frank Edwards, Mr M & Revelation, Moses Bliss, Bidemi Olaoba, and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir (LMGC). For the first time, the stage will also host Tolu Odukoya and Gaise Baba.
This 20th edition is more than a concert; it is a celebration of worship’s power to unite nations, generations, and hearts in Christ. While The Experience consistently draws global attention and dignitaries from all spheres of society – politicians, diplomats, clergy, and business leaders – the event remains free and open to all, affirming its mission of inclusivity and unity.
With the theme “JESUS UNITED,” this year’s Experience calls believers everywhere to rise above division, hardship, and uncertainty, proclaiming a collective message of love, hope, and reconciliation. It is a night that reminds us that no matter our differences, we are one in Christ.
When dawn breaks on Saturday, December 6th, Lagos – and indeed the world – will resound with one voice, one faith, one declaration: JESUS UNITED. Twenty years of experiencing God’s faithfulness, celebrated through worship that transcends borders.
