The National president of the Yoruba welfare group, (YWG) Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje bursts out in a very powerful voice against those who carried rumours about Asiwaju Tinubu dead.
Tinubu was reported to have died in Dubai according to the rumours last week. “we doubt if the Satanic emissaries are full blooded Yorubas”. We suspect that they are baseborn whose paternity cannot be traced even to the people of south west.
In a press statement, made available to newsmen from his office, yesterday, he furthers condemned an attempt to manipulate with motive to cause crisis of divisions amongst Yorubas by those he refers to as non- Yorubas
“Remember the land cannot belong to the father and his child at the same time without demarcation. It’s high time we lectured those ignorant, Yorubas who are supporting outsiders to cripple their leaders in our lands. These people don’t know that, their are planing to set Yoruba land on fire, for your own crooks leaders to take over the lead, it will not work,”
“Is it not funny to see those who live, survive , progress and succeed in our land would be doing things they cannot do in their own land? How can you plan to destroy our own leaders and spare your own.
We can’t simply condone those bent on destroying our land and kidnapping, rapping, attacking our famers, killing our sons and daughters. The Almighty God of our land and ancestors will never allow them to rest.
“Criminals must be treated as criminals irrespective of where they come from. Unfortunately our politicians and their cohorts are concentrating in attacking one ethnic tribe while they and their boys are hobnobbing with those who are making fortunes in our land but are on the other hands, trying to encourage the destruction of our economy and leaders. Check them, you will agree with us that they are equally dangerous to be in our midst.”
All their satanic gang-up against Asiwaju 2023 ambition is the highest act of failure on their part.
They are fuelling and sponsoring rebellions amongst the youths against our Yoruba leaders. They are instigating families against families. They are the one who want to dictate to Lagosians to reject their fellow Yorubas while nobody should disturb them that are not Yoruba in Lagos. The YWG National president, Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje however reiterated that any gang-up against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023 ambition is dead on arrival. That no weapon fashioned against him shall prosper.
Furthermore, he sounded a note of warning to all those exhibiting symptoms of disunity and rumours mongers to stay of Yorubaland.
Comrade Alawuje noted further, unfortunately 70% of those circulating hate speeches and fake messages on the social media are non Yorubas, while the remaining 30% are either ignoramuses or people suffering from intelligence shortage.
“As for we in the Yoruba Welfare Group, [YWG], we remain undaunted and unstoppable in our push for Jagaban 2023 without caring what anybody says.”
The only reason we will back out is if you the Yorubas were able to present us a better and winnable candidate who knows our problems and has the political will to solve them if he becomes the president.
The statement reads further:
Let us warn all the external foes aided by internal enemies of Yoruba land that God will soon expose and downgrade them in the political arena, if they did not stop their agenda against Yoruba president in 2023.
The Nigerians masses and youths are aware of all their evil plans immediately after the conclusion of 2015 general election.
As a father and leader, Asiwaju felt it will be nonsensical for him to start dragging things with his political opposition within his region he kept quiet like he did not know what was happening. He ignored them because he knows when push comes to shove, his enemies will return back home like a prodigal children.
When the 2019 election was fast approaching, these prodigal fellows, who have no choice than to come down and now to have access to the blessings and prayers of their neglected political father and the most strategics political leader to safe them. This father, as a missionary and visionary leader forgave.
Just a week before the celebration of democracy day and a week later, the clasps started regrouping to perpetrate another ideological and social-political injustice against the same father by declaring Tinubu death.
Tinubu who birth millions of political children across the world every where was like, what was really going on? Please is this a kind of new system of politics within ourselves or the non Yorubas that really wanted to celebrate our Yoruba down fall politically, traditionally, economically and socially
YWG therefore, calls on all their responsible leaders to call them to order before it’s too late. let them concentrate their political affairs energy on their region, there’s no way we can replace Tinubu leadership.
YWG an offspring of Asiwaju and a body who treasure our politics in Nigeria, irrespective of the political parties, today YWG will never allow non Yorubas to join hands with any of our children to rubbish our political fathers in our land which as present Tinubu is the most leading one, as chief Olusegun Obasanjo can not contest for any position in the country again.
In Yoruba land we used to fight for don’t overtake me, nobody fight for don’t follow me behind, today is Tinubu we don’t know who we be tomorrow.
YWG throws his weight behind Tinubu as a true Yoruba son who remains a sellable candidate that can withstand any form of political criticism from his detractors; particularly with massive political structure across the country.
The socio-cultural group subsequently appeals to Tinubu not to be frustrated by steps being taken by non-Yorubas as well the mischievous ones amongst the Yorubas not to be deterred by their ochestrated campaign against him.
“YWG is fully behind Tinubu, we are ready to stand by him in all circumstances, and we support him with our fervent prayers”, Alawuje said.
