HE CAME TO MEET WITH A LADY HE WANTED TO MARRY, BUT SHE FAILED TO SHOW UP AND I BECAME HIS WIFE INSTEAD
My husband and I met through a family mutual friend way back in 2014. He initially came to meet with a lady he wanted to marry and they were going to meet for the very first time but unfortunately, she didn’t show up.
Coincidentally, I came to drop off food at our family friend’s place when he saw me and said “ This is my wife” Then I laughed and asked him “How do you want to marry someone you barely know”? With all his determination to get to know me, he visited Cameroon four times that same year lol.
I recall my friends asking me if he was coming from the US or some neighbouring African country lol. Fast forward to October of that same year, my bride price was paid and then I relocated to the US in 2015 where we signed our civil wedding and today we are blessed with three gorgeous kids. Whew!! It’s been such a roller coaster ride of emotions but it’s been such an absolute blessing!!! I have got my dream marriage, and my dream kids, and now I’m super excited to be having my dream wedding!
