Nigerian street-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, performed at the Celestial Church of Christ, Goshen Land Cathedral, in Lagos State on Friday night.
Recall the Celestial Church of Christ has drawn criticism for bringing Portable and Fuji singer Pasuma to its praise.
However the church leader stated that the artiste would no longer perform, Portable insisted on performing at the church event.
Keeping to his words, the artiste arrived at the venue of the praise night on Friday and thrilled the audience.
However, Tayo Oke, a celestial prophet, expresses his displeasure with the performance of the controversial singers Portable and Pasuma at a church praise night.
The street rapper and Fuji singer was invited to perform at the Celestial Church of Christ, Goshen Land Cathedral in Lagos State.
In a video circulating online, Prophet Tayo Oke expressed his displeasure after witnessing Portable and Pasuma singing in a church.
The prophet emphasised the disregard for the outcry, as Portable and Pasuma continued with their performances. He emphasised Portable’s disrespect by wearing their Sutana while singing Zazuu.
Prophet Tayo Oke went on to question if anyone had observed a troublemaker singing in other churches and concluded by praying for God to judge the organizers of the event.
“Despite the outcry, Portable and Pasuma still went ahead to perform at the praise night. Have you ever seen a nuisance singing in the other churches? Portable wore our Sutana and was singing Zazu. I wept when I saw him singing. God will judge the organizers,” he said in part.
