Press Society Pays Courtesy Visit to Lagos Police Command
Some Executives of the Non-governmental media organisation Society visited Lagos Police Command Ikeja to familiarise the new organisation, its vision and its area of collaboration with the Police.
The Lagos Police Public Relations SP Benjamin Hundeyin received representatives of the Press Society in a hospitable manner in his office on Saturday 10th of February 2024.
In a telephone interview with our correspondence and the President of Press Society Comrade Elias Abayomi Adagunduro after the visit, opined that the short visit was strategic for the organisation to acquaint its initiative with all stakeholders it will be working with going forward.
In his words he said;
“It is important we familiarise our goal, an objectives with all the stakeholders we will be working with in the future.
“Since our Secretariat headquarters in Lagos, it is imperative to visit Lagos Police Command before heading to other command of Police in other states to familiarise the organisation’s objectives and goals.
“The details of our engagement will be communicated in a letter to the Commissioner of Police Lagos state in the coming days”. He said
The Public Relations SP Benjamin Hundeyin appreciated members of Press Society for the visit and the initiative. He said he would look forward to their letter to the commissioner.
